Our youth work training

Using our experience of almost 100 years in the youth sector, Ambition Training offers a range of training opportunities aimed at local, regional and national voluntary youth services. Our highly experienced tutors come with a range of voluntary and statutory youth and community work backgrounds. We have a track record in delivering accredited and non-accredited learning solutions through a range of reputable awarding bodies including The Institute of Leadership and Management, Sports Leaders UK, Open College Network West Midlands and ASDAN.

From a one-day informal course to a full youth work qualification, our people aim to inspire and engage the youth sector workforce in a range of experiences.

What we do

This is delivered in the following ways:

  • Open courses – delivered at set venues across the UK, open to individuals and groups
  • Bespoke courses – delivered at your organisation, specifically designed to meet your needs
  • Facilitation – we work with your staff on a specific area of development
  • Individual coaching – experienced coaches provide one to one development, mentoring and support for your staff

Training is delivered through accredited and non-accredited routes and can be short courses (half day) to full qualifications delivered over a period of weeks and months. We work with a number of awarding bodies including The Institute of Leadership and Management and Open College Network West Midlands who provide external quality assurance of our programmes.
