Ambition 2017 Annual Conference Postponed
We are very pleased to say that Ambition has had a productive start to the membership year. We have formed many positive alliances and partnerships and are excited to share these updates, which we believe will be of great benefit to Ambition members and partners, both as individual entities, and as a collective youth sector. Areas which have seen substantial investment from us, include:
- Funding opportunities (Life Chances Fund)
- Data (Scale and Reach Survey)
- Impact (Partnership with Centre for Youth Impact)
- Quality (expansion of Ambition Quality into different sectors)
Our aim is not to just inform you of these updates, but to also be informed by you and based on delegate feedback, we would like to interact in a more intimate setting, hence our decision to postpone this year’s annual conference.
We are currently reflecting on options which require less travel and cost to participants – in line with feedback from members. Therefore, in place of the annual conference, we plan to hold regional or specialist events with an emphasis on collaboration and quality. This will allow participants to bring along more members of their team to learn more about how our new strategy can benefit their work. There will also be the chance to network with other colleagues in their region or specialism.
